A visit to the Vet

geeky

current mood: geeky

Bobbie had an appointment with his favourite vet today for his 1 year booster shot and a physical check up. The Vet said he is doing great and his little defect is not all that rare...he knows several kitties with "Cerebellous"..well something like that anyway...not sure of the spelling. He said Bobbie's mom may have had a virus while carrying her litter and not all the kittens would be affected. The poor little dear - just his luck and yes he is a tad cross-eyed tooo... Scamp is due for his check up on Oct 14th..the day before I leave for my visit to Mike & Carol. Wow, he weighs 11 lbs and has doubled his weight from the last visit - he's becoming quite the porker and I may have to take him with me to Weight Watchers on Thursday nights..

HB ("honey bunch" my nickname for Carol at work) was out sick today. Must have been the birthday cake...lol She has been feeling unwell for a couple of weeks and the doc said she may have an ulcer...oh my...

I just saw a trailer for "The Corpse Bride"...gotta see it - I just love Tim Burton movies.. Yep...I can type and watch TV at the same time...lol

Hey "Survior" is coming back...Guatemala..hmmmm the Mayan Adventure...now there is somewhere I have always wanted to go. Gotta remember to buy lotto tickets for that trip. I really do love to travel and wish only to have someone rich Sweetie to accompany me...yah right!

Too bad they don't know cod tongues are the second-best part (the cheeks are the best, IMO).

I'm glad to hear Bobbie is doing well!
"The Corpse Bride" sounds like so much fun -- did you notice the voice of the lead is Johnny Depp?

We had a litter of kittens here that had the same thing I think (Calisivirus). Two of the little dears have passed away, but the rest are being medicated now.

As for Corpse Bride, my wife and I tried to go see it today but didn't realize that it didn't come out until this Friday. Doh! *slaps head* I guess we are just too eager to go and see it.

Yes, I think that was what the Vet said about Bobbie - Calisivirus. His little head wobbles alot when he is stressed, trying to focus his little crossed eyes or when eating. The eating thing is just a habit from when he was a kitten. He is very healthy otherwise:) and such a precious furry guy...lol

Doh..me too!! Thought Corpse Bride was out last week, but really thankful we lined up in the rain to see "Beowolf and Grendel"...just too awesome..
